Pfennigwerth wowing
them at kicking camp

Nathan Pfennigwerth put up some impressive numbers Sunday at Kohl's Kicking Camp in Pittsburgh.

The Franklin junior tied for first place with a 51-yard field goal  and won the punt contest outright with a 49-yard effort with a 4.2 seconds hang time.

He will next compete in the Eastern Winter Showcase Dec. 3 at Thiel College in Greenville where he will be rated and ranked.

Pfennigwerth, who doubles as a soccer player at Franklin, has booted six field goals in his career with the Knights. 

He also scored 29 goals in 19 matches for the soccer team, tying Gage Haniwalt for the team lead for the 13-5-1 Knights who made the playoffs.

Hunter Marsteller threw for 1,059 yards this season and 1,842 in his career, which ranks No. 10 all-time...Cole Buckley, a junior, is No. 7 on the Franklin all-time receiving list with 1,166 yards...Buckley caught 44 passes for 689 yards this fall...Nathan Pfennigwerth, another junior, is No. 10 on the career kicking list with 41 points. No. 90, Alex Wible, was a favorite target of Franklin quarterbacks.

Senior tight end Drew Wilkinson, who hasn't played much this season due to injury, took a recruiting visit to Edinboro on Oct. 8. He's pictured here with his dad, Chad. Wilkinson was injured in the Titusville game, tried to play a few weeks later, and now is out for the season.
